Publishing to the Market

Updated on August 5, 2026

Publishing a collection makes it visible to all SimuLab users. Other students can browse it, preview its problems, and clone it to their account. Only you can edit or remove it.

Only publish material you have the rights to share. Do not publish content copied from books, exams, or other sources without permission.

Publish a collection

  1. In the Collections panel, right-click the collection you want to share.
  2. Choose Publish to the market from the context menu.
  3. The publish form opens. Fill in:
    • Description — a short text explaining what the collection is about.
    • Topics — tags so others can find it (for example: calculus, integration).
    • Language — the language the problems are written in.
  4. Click Publish. The collection appears in the Market immediately.

Manage your publications

Open the Market and switch to the My publications tab. There you see all the collections you have published, with their description, problem count, and clone count.

From the menu (⋮) of each listing you can:

  • Edit — update the description, tags, or language without removing the listing.
  • Make private — remove the collection from the Market. Existing clones are not deleted; it simply stops appearing for new visitors.

Frequently asked questions

What happens if I edit or delete problems after publishing? The Market reflects the collection as it currently stands; if you change the problems, the listing updates automatically.

Can I publish the same collection more than once? No. Each collection can have only one active listing in the Market.

Are users who cloned my collection affected if I make it private? No. Making a listing private only removes it from the Market for new visitors. Copies already cloned by others remain intact.

Can I edit the collection name after publishing? The name shown in the Market comes from your collection's name. If you rename it in the Collections tree, the change is reflected in your listing.

Next step

  • Market — browse collections published by other students.
  • Organizing with nested collections — structure your collection well before publishing it.
